So what makes Kaleidoscope Ministries unique?

Why another charitable organization in Midland? What need do
we meet that is not currently being met? We are an in-depth
mentoring ministry for mothers and their children. Our goal is to
invest in the lives of our clients over years in order to break the
cycle of poverty by leading them to Christ and teaching them
necessary life skills. Kaleidoscope Ministries is unique in that:

We are a faith-based organization. We believe that truly lasting
change will come from a life-changing encounter with Christ.

Rather than touch a large group of people lightly, we choose to
touch a limited group of people very deeply. We are committed to
them for as long as it takes. That can add up to as many as 500
hours per year for the person who takes advantage of all aspects
of our program.

Our families are unique in that they are not a transient group. Most
have lived right here in Midland, Texas their entire lives.
They are not going anywhere and neither are we.

Many of our moms do not qualify for other programs for a variety
of reasons. Often, Kaleidoscope Ministries is their only choice.

We mentor the mothers as well as the children. We are convinced
that this gives us the highest probability of seeing lasting change
in the family.
